‘What Is This” Falz Reacts To Lagos State’s Newly Introduced Levies Various Works

Nigerian rapper and actor, Falz has reacted to the implementation of 5 percent levy on all audio and visual content on all phyical and digital platforms, by the Lagos state government.

The state government has made it known in a notice it addressed to the Managing Director of Iroko TV.

The Lagos State Government requested for the “immediate payment of 5% levy on all audio and visual content produced, sold, distributed, marketed, exhibited, streamed, downloaded and shared across all physical and digital platform situate, lying and being within the state.”

Reacting to this, Falz described it as a joke. He wrote “What is this joke?” And various reactions have followed.
