Bandits Attack Bank In Kagara In Niger State

Unknown gunmen on Wednesday night attacked a bank in Kagara town, Rafi LGA in Niger State, carting away huge sums of money.

It was gathered that the armed men numbering about 90 with sophisticated weapons on 30 motorbikes, launched the attack around 6:00 pm on Wednesday.

An eyewitness told Prestige Radio that the armed men operated till 7:00 pm inside Kagara town.

The witness also revealed that volunteers tried to chase the bandits away by firing at them with Dane guns.

Many people were injured and are currently receiving treatment at Kagara General Hospital.
