Tinubu Govt Still Paying Subsidy On Petrol - Oil Marketers

The co-convener of the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) movement, Aisha Yesufu has aired her opinion on the new price of petrol.

Naija News had reported earlier that the Pipelines and Product Marketing Company (PPMC) has increased petrol price to N151.56 per litre. The new petrol price was contained in a memo released by the Pipelines and Product Marketing Company (PPMC) and signed by D.O Abalaka.

The statement said; “Please be informed that a new product price adjustment has been effected on our payment platform.

“To this end, the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) is now one hundred and fifty-one naira, fifty-six kobo (N151.56k) per litre.

“This takes effect from September 2, 2020,” the statement added.

Reacting to the new petrol price, Mrs Yesufu said the “fuel price has been increased but the cowards will not dare call out the incompetent, clueless, corrupt, inept & failure #ICCIF Rtd Major General Buhari @MBuhari who is also the Minister of Petroleum but they will focus on Ojota activists and those who voted GEJ in 2015.”
