MTN Nigeria CEO Resigns

The President and Chief Executive Officer, CEO of MTN Group Limited, Rob Shuter has resigned.

This was made known by MTN Nigeria Communications Plc in information it posted on the website of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday.

Also, investors were informed that Shuter’s resignation is effective Sept. 1.

The company’s Secretary, Uto Ukpana, disclosed in the notice that Shuter, before his resignation, was President and CEO of MTN Group Limited.

She said Shuter became a member of the Board of MTN Nigeria on April 13, 2017.

“The board of MTN Nigeria would like to express its appreciation to Mr. Shuter for his exemplary leadership, focus, and commitment to the success of the company.

“The board wishes him the best in his future endeavours,” she stated.
