Mali’s Ousted President, Keita Hospitalized

The ousted President of Mali, Ibrahim-Boubacar Keita has been hospitalised at a private clinic in Bamako, Mali.

Information gathered revealed that Keita’s health deteriorated after being detained for 10 days by the junta.

It is however not clear whether the 75-year-old would be flown abroad for medical treatment.

Recall that the military had overthrown Keita who was elected to office in 2013, and had three years left in his second term.
