President Buhari Sends Birthday Message To Pastor Adeboye

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has challenged the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor E.A Adeboye for his refusal to brief the press after his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday.

Naija News had reported earlier that the renowned clergy held a closed door meeting with the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Monday, August 31.

However, after the Aso Rock closed door meeting, Pastor Adeboye while leaving the Villa refused to respond even a word with the eagerly waiting journalists at State House.

Naija News understands that until this time, no statement regarding the meeting has been made available to the press, however, there were insinuations that Adeboye had visited president Buhari over the controversial Companies and Allied Matters Act, CAMA, which was signed into early August this year.

Reacting to Adeboye’s refusal to speak with newsmen, the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu alleged that the clergy refused to speak because what he (Adeboye) saw in Aso Rock.

“The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God Pastor E.A Adeboye declined to speak with state house correspondents after his meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday,” Kanu wrote on Facebook.

Kanu again bring up his allegation of saying Adeboye saw another person different from the Buhari that was voted into power. He also accused Adeboye of deception in the name of Christ for refusing to speak up.

He said, “I challenge Adeboye to tell the world if he met the old brutal dictator Buhari or somebody that looks like him,” he claimed.
