Some Nigerian Muslims has warned Christians in the country to stay away from Islamic matters.

The warning was coming after some Christians expressed their dissatisfaction with Kano State Governor’s declaration to sign the death warrant of singer, Sharif Yahya Aminu who was accused of blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad.

Naija News understands that Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has said he is ready to sign the death warrant against the singer should he refused to take up the option of appealing the sentence against him.

Ganduje’s declaration raised an uproar among citizens as many of the Christian believers condemned the act, including a few Muslims who also did not support the said Sharia Law.

However, some of the Muslims have commended Ganduje for his readiness to act in accordance to the death sentence issued to Aminu by a Kano Shariah Court for the alleged blasphemy.

They also gave a stern warning to Christians to desist from meddling with Islamic matters, noting that nobody asked for their opinion on how the Sharia Law should be applied.
