Transfer News: Juventus To Sign Pogba From Man Utd For £50

Manchester United and France midfielder star Paul Pogba has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus (COVID-19).

The 27-year-old who was named in France’s squad for their upcoming Nations League matches next month has been replaced in the squad by Eduardo Camavinga following his positive test result.

In a related development, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has also tested positive for coronavirus.

Ndombele has also gone into quarantine for the next 14 days, according to reports in France.

According to L’Equipe, the £65million signing will have to sit out Spurs’ pre-season schedule for the next 14 days as a result of this latest news.

Jose Mourinho’s men have already featured in one pre-season outing, when they beat Ipswich 3-0 last weekend.

The Frenchman will be hoping to have a more positive season in north London than his debut campaign.

Ndombele scored two goals and provided four assists for Spurs in the 2019-20 season.
