Nigerians Blow Hot As IPOB Members Allegedly Kill DSS Officials
The Department of State Services on Sunday said its patrol team was attacked in Emene, Enugu State by members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
DSS stated this in a statement released through Peter Afunanya, Public Relations Officer.
The secret police noted that two of its officials were killed during the attack.
Some Nigerians have, however, disagreed with the report that the DSS operatives were killed by armless IPOB members.
See some reactions below:
IPOB members have the right to stage a peaceful protest.
They have a right to demand for whatever they want. It’s up to be government, as a unifying figure, representing the people, to now commence with a dialogue. Not have DSS shooting at unarmed ppl and tagging it as a clash.— NatashaNorthside??❤️ (@NatashaOfLagos) August 24, 2020
The killing of unarmed IPOB youths by security agents in Enugu is inhuman, wicked, condemnable and totally unacceptable.
All those involved in the killings will not escape the consequences of their wickedness.
The claim by the DSS that two its personnel were killed is baseless

On the other hand, some Nigerians condemned IPOB members for allegedly killing DSS operatives.
This people are becoming more notoriously difficult to handle, this nonsense must be stopped.
