Adamawa: CAN Chairman Tests Positive For Coronavirus

The Adamawa State Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Bishop Dami Mamza, has tested positive for Coronavirus.

The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yola and member of the Adamawa State COVID-19 Containment Committee disclosed his status to the media on Sunday.

He further stated in the stated that he has decided to go into total isolation and to take his treatment.

“One lesson that I want people to appreciate and understand is that everybody has to make himself available for testing if need be.”

Making the point that testing positive for the virus is not a death sentence, Bishop Dami urged people to pray for him and all others who tested positive for coronavirus.

He advised everyone to accept that the virus is real and to take all necessary precautions against it.
