English Premier League club, Arsenal, has identified 10 players that will be allowed to leave the club during the current transfer window.

Naija News understands the decision to put the players up for sale is to free up space in the squad as well as make funds available to acquire new players that can strengthen the team.

According to The Times, Rob Holding, Calum Chambers, Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Shkodran Mustafi have all been put up for sale even as the club inches closer to completing a deal for Lille left-back, Gabriel Magalhaes.

Other players are Ainsley Maitland-Niles Lucas Torreira, Matteo Guendouzi, and Mohamed Elneny – all in the midfield position while two forwards, Alexandre Lacazette and Reiss Nelson will also be allowed to depart for the right amount.

Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil has declared that he won’t be forced out of the club before his contract with Arsenal expires in 2021.

The player has not been playing for the team and he seems not to be part of manager Mikel Arteta’s immediate plan but the midfielder has insisted on seeing out his contract at the North London club.

“When a player wants to leave and the club says no, the player must accept it unless they find a solution together. So when a club wants a player to leave and the player says no, the club must accept it unless a solution can be found together. I don’t want to leave, so that’s it,” Ozil stated.
