Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai on Friday, August 21 visited the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Abubakar to discuss the issues of insecurity in the state.
Governor El-Rufai disclosed this on his verified Twitter account on Friday morning, noting that the meeting was to receive updates on the efforts put in place by the Nigerian Airforce to end banditry in Kaduna State.
He tweeted; “Governor Nasir Ahmad @elrufai visited the Chief of Air Staff, @CAS_AMSadique at his office this morning. The Governor received updates on the efforts of the @NigAirForce to curb banditry in Kaduna State.”

This was coming a few hours after Governor El-Rufai in a statement released through his spokesman, Muyiwa Adekeye, described the withdrawal of his invitation to speak at this year’s Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) conference, as an “unfortunate embrace of injustice.
