The People Democratic Party, PDP Board of Trustees on Thursday, August 20 announced that it has lifted the suspension on Senator Solomon Ewuga, Musa Elayo and Muhammed Onawo.

The development was disclosed today by Chairman of the board, Senator Wali Jibrin, Naija News understands.

Wali during a press briefing with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Nasarawa, Nasarawa LGA of Nasarawa State on Thursday declared that the suspension on the former House of Representatives member is lifted with immediate effect.

Naija News understands that development was coming following the submission of reports by the reconciliation committee on the crisis in the state.

Speaking with newsmen on the development, Wali said, “I want to disclose to you that we have lifted the suspension of Sen. Ewuga, Muhammed Onawo and Rep. Musa Elayo.”

“When we received the reports of the reconciliation committee, we agreed to lift the suspension on Ewuga, Muhammed Onawo and Musa Elayo.”

Wali in his statement ordered that all court cases be withdrawn in the interest of peace and for the progress of the party. Naija News understands that the Nigeria opposition party in the state had been engulfed in an intra-party crisis that led to the suspension of some chieftains.
