Wuhan Holds Massive Pool Party To Celebrate 3 Months Of Zero COVID-19 Cases [Video/Photos]

While other countries of the world are still experiencing a hike in daily COVID-19 cases, the city of Wuhan in China, the place where the dreaded Coronavirus disease emerged from have gathered in large numbers to celebrate months of recording zero cases of the virus.

In a video recently released on the public domain, thousands of people were seen in Wuhan, packed in a pool for an electronic music festival to mark three months of having no reported cases of COVID-19.

Naija News learnt that the party was held at Maya Beach Water Park on Saturday, August 15, in the Chinese city, witnessed by thousands of residents.

Naija News understands that Wuhan has not recorded a single case of the novel virus since the 76-day lockdown was lifted in April.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Tuesday night, August 18 reported four hundred and ten new cases of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.
