It's Left For Tinubu To Allow Him - Shehu Sani Identifies Politician Trying To Cause Crisis In Nigeria

The federal government of Nigeria on Monday evening announced plans to resume international flights amid the coronavirus pandemic which had earlier forced a pause to such flights.

The decision was announced by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening.

While appreciating all those who had been affected by the flight ban, Sirika noted that the resumption will be guided by strict observance of COVID-19 protocols which will be announced in due course.

Following the announcement by Government, many Nigerians have taken to Twitter to express their views on the development.

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani in his reaction, warned that though the resumption of international flights has been announced by the government, COVID-19 is still everywhere.

“International flights resume on the 29th of August, but everywhere you go it’s #COVID19,” he wrote and then added later that “We don’t have any problem with our people who want to travel out when the planes start flying; We have problem with them when they want to come back.”

The COVID-19 is a global infection and Naija News reports that many countries are battling to contain further spread of the virus even as economies that had been forced to shut down in the wake of the virus gradually reopens.
