English Premier League club champions, Liverpool FC may not have further extension of contract with its German coach, Jurgen Klopp, as he declared his position with the club after his term expires in 2024.

Klopp who has helped Liverpool lift the EPL trophy after 30 years, stated again in a recent interview of his plan to walk away and take at least a year off from coaching after his contract expires at Anfield.

Naija News recalls that the 53-year-old German coach had joined Anfield in 2015, later in December 2019 extended his stay with the champions until 2024.

Klopp did not categorically states that his coaching career will end after 2024, he only said during an interview with SportBuzzer that: “I will take a year off and ask myself if I miss football.”

He added, “If I say no, then that will be the end of coach Jurgen Klopp. If one day, I am no longer a manager, there is one thing I will not miss: the brutal tension immediately before the game.”

Meanwhile, London professional football club, Arsenal FC has sacked and announced the replacement for the club’s head of football, Raul Sanllehi, Naija News reports.
