JUST IN: NCDC Reports New 417 Cases Of Coronavirus In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported fresh 417 cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Naija News reports that the NCDC confirmed the new 417 cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria in a series of tweets on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Monday evening, August 17.

According to the NCDC, of the four hundred and seventeen new coronavirus cases recorded on Monday evening, 207 were recorded in Lagos State, Nigeria’s commercial city, Kaduna-44 Ondo-38 Abia-28 Anambra-21 Plateau-20 Bauchi-13 Oyo-9 Ebonyi-9 Delta-7 Edo-7 Enugu-6 Niger-3 Gombe-2 Ogun-1 FCT-1 Kano-1, northern Nigeria.

The NCDC tweeted: “417 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria; Lagos-207 Kaduna-44 Ondo-38 Abia-28 Anambra-21 Plateau-20 Bauchi-13 Oyo-9 Ebonyi-9 Delta-7 Edo-7 Enugu-6 Niger-3 Gombe-2 Ogun-1 FCT-1 Kano-1 49,485 confirmed 36,834 discharged 977 deaths,” the tweet added.
