Romelu Lukaku was in fine form for Inter Milan on Monday, leading his team to a comprehensive 5-0 thrashing of Shakhtar Donetsk in their Europa League semi-final clash.

Goals from Lautaro Martínez in the 19th minute, Danilo D’Ambrosio (64), another 74th-minute Martínez goal as well as two goals from Romelu Lukaku (78, 83), settled the match in favour of Inter.

According to Opta Joe, Inter Milan’s 5-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk is the biggest margin of victory in a single Europa League/UEFA Cup semi-final game while Inter Milan are also the first-ever Serie A team to reach the UEFA Europa League champions final.

Inter will now face Sevilla who had previously beaten Manchester United on Sunday in this year’s Europa League finals scheduled for Friday by 8pm.
