Real Reason Buhari Suspended 12 EFCC Officials

The reason behind the suspension of 12 senior officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission by President Muhammadu Buhari has been revealed.

The officials include the EFCC Executive Secretary, Olanipekun Olukoyede, in July suspended by Abubakar Malami, Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, on the orders of President Buhari.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has accused a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Dr

Obadiah Mailafia of changing his words after been interrogated by its operatives.

The DSS in a statement on Friday by its Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya claimed that Malafia had apologized profusely for his comments about Boko Haram when he honoured an invitation at the Service’s Plateau State Command.
