Unknown Gunmen Attack Katsina Communities, Kill One

Unknown gunmen on Wednesday attacked Gidangizo village in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State killing one victim and abducting two sisters.

Naija News reports that bandits had killed Nasiru Halilu,37, after he engaged the bandits in an argument when they stormed his house in the early hours of the day, demanding for money.

It was gathered that the gunmen stormed several houses in the village asking for food items and other valuables, before they escaped with two daughters: Zainaru and Aminu, of one Alhaji Mudi.

Four victims whose names were not immediately known were injured in the attack which lasted less than an hour, sources told Vanguard.

Meanwhile, Naija News reports that gunmen had on Tuesday night stormed Mahuta, Danudume Local Government Area of Katsina State and reportedly abducted a health worker.

The hoodlums also injured several persons, rustled a lot of domestic animals and carted away other valuables in the attack.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in Katsina, Gambo Isah, said he should be given some time to clarify the Mahuta attack
