Jonathan, Atiku, Shehu Sani React As Reno Omokri Marks 49th Birthday

The former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has condemned the Department of State Services, for inviting the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mailafia Obadiah, over his revelation on Boko Haram.

Recall that the former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress revealed that Boko Haram insurgents are planning to cause a civil war in Nigeria in 2022.

He further stated that the terrorist groups have their members in the southern part of Nigeria in preparation towards the 2020 plan.

The former deputy governor of CBN noted that the terrorist plan was revealed by a repentant Boko Haram Commander, who had also told him that a Northern governor is the commander of the group.

Following this claim by Obadiah, the DSS on Wednesday invited the former presidential candidate for questioning.

The former Presidential aide while reacting noted that Obadiah was the wrong person to invite for questioning.

Reno in a tweet stated that the DSS should have invited Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State who once admitted paying killers to stop the attacks in his state.

“Why would DSS invite Obadiah Mailafia? @Elrufai admitted on TV that he paid herdsmen not to kill in his Kaduna (they are still killing).”

“If DSS wants to know the identity of killer herdsmen, they should invite El-Rufai to tell them the identity of those he paid!” he tweeted.
