Edo: There Are Plans For Election Not To Hold – Enwanta

The Special Assistant to Governor Godwin Obaseki, Adaze Enwanta, on Sunday described the invasion of the Edo State House of Assembly on Thursday as treason.

Governor Obaseki’s aide further stated that the plan of the All Progressives Congress is to create chaos in the state and lead the state into a state of emergency so that election will not hold.

Ebwanta while speaking on a monitored TV programme on Sunday noted that the people of Edo State “are very pleased with Obaseki and he will be reelected come September, 19th 2020.”

“The people have lined up for Obaseki and he will defeat Ize-Iyamu.”

“If there is violence in Edo State, it will affect the whole Nigeria because Edo is at the centre.”

“Their plan is to create a crisis and lead Edo into a state of emergency so that elections will not hold.”

“The invasion of Edo Assembly is nothing short of treason.”

Recall that the state House of Assembly was invade last with political parties pointing hands of accusation to each other.
