Kaduna Government To Recruit 23,000 Workers For Special Operations

The Kaduna State Government has started the inclusion of 23,000 young men and women in the Federal Government Special Public Works Programme (SPW).

The SPW is a Corona support program approved by President Muhammadu Buhari, in which 1,000 people will work from each of the 774 local government areas in the country.

The scheme is expected to be operational from October 1, 2020. Each of the youths will be paid N20,000 per month.

Speaking at the launch of the program in Fatika, Giwa Local Government Area of ​​the state, Hajiya Hafsat Baba, Chairperson of the State Executive Committee and Commissioner for Public Works and Community Development, said the program was designed. to address the unemployment gap among Nigerians.
