AK-47, Others Recovered As DSS Raids Popular Delta Chief’s House

The Department of State Services (DSS) on Sunday released Nigeria activist Olawale Bakare popularly known as Mandate.

Naija News reports that DSS operatives in Osogbo had on Wednesday rearrested Olawale Bakare.

Bakare, a co-convener of the #RevolutionNow, had taken to the street of Osogbo, the capital city of Osun State with members of the group to stage a protest against poor governance, lack of infrastructure, extra-judicial activities, among others in the country.

Bakare led the protest to the popular Olaiya junction in Osogbo on Wednesday, August 5.

During the maiden edition of the protest on August 5, 2019, he was also arrested by the DSS and kept in detention until December when he was released on bail.
