Lawmaker’s Wife Kidnapped In Jigawa

Suspected gunmen has abducted the wife of Jigawa State House of Assembly member representing Gwiwa constituency, Hon. Aminu Tsibut.

Information gathered revealed that the lawmaker’s wife identified as Hajiya Rukayya Aminu was kidnapped at Tsibut village in Gwiwa Local Government Area on Friday night at about 1:00AM.

Relatives of the victim noted that the gunmen about seven in number broke the lawmaker’s house and took her away.

He further stated that the family of the Lawmaker has been reached out to and a random has been requested for.

The incident was confirmed by the Commissioner of police in the state.

He, however, stated that officers were deployed to the area for the rescue of the victim.

The commissioner, therefore, warned the general public to be security cautious and alert the security agency about any dubious movements around them.
