Buruji Kashamu, the former Senator that represented Ogun East Senatorial district who died on Saturday, is set to be buried tomorrow (Sunday).
The remains of his body will be buried at his residence, Egbe quarters, Oke-Sopen, Ijebu-Igbo, Ogun State, Naija News gathered.
The burial will be done according to Islamic rites by 12 noon.
It will be recalled as earlier reported by Naija News that the former Senator, died on Saturday, aged 62 at the First Cardiology Consultants in Lagos following complications from the coronavirus infection.
Meanwhile, the 2019 Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to Senator Buruji Kashamu’s death.
Atiku took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to react to the news, saying that his “thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of late Senator Buruji Kashamu.”
Atiku tweeted: “My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of late Senator Buruji Kashamu. May the Almighty Allah accept his soul, forgive his shortcomings and heal the loved ones he left behind.”
