398 Nigerians Returned Home From Overseas On Saturday

A total of 87 Nigerians living abroad landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in the capital Abuja on Saturday.

Another 311 landed in Abuja from the United Arab Emirates at 11:50 p.m. The total number of Nigerians repatriated from the UAE is 2,353, according to NIDCOM.

They were brought back by Nigerian authorities after being stranded in the countries as a result of curfews imposed because of the Corona epidemic, which also restricts immigration to foreign countries.

NIDCOM has said it will isolate the returnees for two weeks as required by law.

Some Nigerians will also return home from London, UK on Saturday, where they are expected to land at around 06:00 Nigerian time.
