COVID-19 : List Of States With New Cases Of Coronavirus, Discharged Patients And Deaths Recorded

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Thursday, August 6 confirmed three hundred and fifty-four new cases of Coronavirus disease in Nigeria.

According to the health agency report, 4 COVID-19 related deaths were recorded in Nigeria on Thursday evening.

The newly reported cases bring the overall cases of the pandemic in Nigeria to 45244,  while 32,430 people have been discharged from the dreaded disease. So far 930 COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded in the 36 states of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory, Naija News understands.

The newly reported cases from 17 states of the country were found as follows; FCT (78), Lagos (76), Kaduna (23), Ebonyi (19), Oyo (18), Nasarawa (17), Rivers (17), Delta (16), Kwara (15), Akwa Ibom (13), Edo (12), Ogun (12), Plateau (11), Kano (9), Bauchi (6), Borno (6), Ekiti (6)

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari’s led administration said it has granted all commercial banks in the country permission to operate fully, Naija News reports. According to the federal government in a statement on Thursday, August 6, banks can now open all their branches.
