NCDC Reports New Cases Of COVID-19 In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has reported three hundred and fifty-four new cases of COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.

The health agency confirmed the new cases on Thursday, August 6 via its official account on the microblogging site, Twitter. The development brings the overall confirmed cases of the dreaded disease to 45,244 in Nigeria while 32,430 are said to have been discharged.

So far, 930 COVID-19 related deaths have been recorded in Nigeria since outbreak of the novel virus. See below the newly reported cases as reported by the NCDC on Thursday evening.

Meanwhile, State governments, including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has been directed to make compulsory the use of face masks in public places across the country.
