Dignitaries In Attendance At Late Abiola Ajimobi’s 40 Days Prayer

Today, August 6, family members, friends and associates of late Abiola Ajimobi, gathered at the Oyo State capital, Ibadan to observe his 40 day Islamic prayer (Fidau).

Naija News recalls that the former governor and Nigerian senator died on June 25, 2020.

At the forefront of the gathering at the Oluyole residence of the late politician for the fidau prayer are his wife, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, Idris Ajimobi, Ajimobi’s immediate and extended family members.

Also present at the 40 days prayer programme is Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, Senator Teslim Folarin, Abdulfatai Buhari and Hon. Segun Dokun Odebunmi.

Other dignitaries include All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate in the 2019 gubernatorial election in the state, Mr. Adebayo Adelabu, Hon. Moses Alake Adeyemo among others.

Naija News understands that the prayer programme for the late politician was led by an Islamic cleric, Sheik Muhideen Ajani Bello. Speaking during the session, Bello urged colleagues, family members and supporters not to destroy the deceased legacies.
