In the early hours of today, Shoprite, Africa’s largest food retailer, announced its nursing plan to sell off its majority share in its Nigerian subsidiary.

WAEC: FG Takes Fresh Decision On Opening Unity Schools For SS3 Students

The federal government of Nigeria has approved the resumption of SS3 students in the 104 unity schools across the country as from tomorrow (Tuesday).

This was confirmed on Monday by the Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba in a statement signed by the Director, Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Goong.

The All Progressives Congress has reacted to the statement released by the media office of the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party during the 2019 general election, Atiku Abubakar, describing the sovereign immunity clause embedded in Nigeria’s loan agreements with China was unresearched, unintelligent and pedestrian.

The ruling party reacted on Monday in a statement released through its spokesperson, Yekini Nabena.
