Nigerians Shocked As Nigeria Is Absent From Top 20 List Of Countries With ‘Yahoo’ Fraud

Some Nigerians are suprised at the absence of Nigeria from a new statistic, showing the top 20 countries with high rates of cyber crimes.

The data, released by the Security research firm, Symantec, revealed America to be the highest with 23%, China followed but not too closely with 9%, while Argentina, Australia and Isreal tallied with 1% respectively.

With the recent burst on cybercrime associated with the likes of Hushpuppi, Mompha, Woodberry and co. whose cyber fraud have been herald and echoed all over the world, Nigerians are surprised that the country isn’t still among the list.
