Bishop Abraham Udeh of the Mount Zion Faith Global Liberation Ministries has warned the South-East region to desist from pursuing an Igbo presidency agenda for 2023.

The clergy warned that according to a prophecy he received from God, there are inherent dangers if such aspirations are not jettisoned.

He revealed that what he saw in the spiritual realm spells doom for the Igbo presidency aspiration as such a person would either be overthrown by the military or killed.

Udeh added that Boko Haram insurgency and insecurity would be intensified if an Igbo man becomes Nigeria’s president.

He, therefore, charged Southeast politicians to focus their energy on the actualization of Biafra rather than pursue the 2023 Igbo presidency agenda.

Udeh was quoted to have made his submissions while speaking with journalists in Nnewi, Anambra State over the weekend.

In his words: “An Igbo man might become president in 2023, but he would either be killed or overthrown by the military. I saw that situation in the spiritual realm and warned the Igbo personalities warming up for the 2023 presidential election to have a rethink and rather channel the energy and resources to Biafra actualization.

“It is a sealed deal that an Igbo man will never be allowed to rule Nigeria.

“According to how it was revealed to me, an Igbo man, after much pressure to rule, may be allowed to become president but shortly after, insecurity, including Boko Haram insurgency and banditry, will be intensified to discredit such president.”

Meanwhile, it will be recalled as earlier reported by Naija News that the apex Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze in a recent statement by its President, Nnia Nwodo, has insisted that it is the turn of the region to produce Nigeria’s next president in 2023.
