Eid-El-Mubarak: Sallah Cow Turns Against Those Parading It For Slaughter

Muslim faithful across the world today, Friday, July 31 celebrated Eid al-Adha, to commemorate the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to God’s command.

As usual, festive periods like this will always come with some mix of planned and unplanned dramas, like that of a cow which turned against men parading it for slaughter.

A now-viral video obtained by Naija News on social media shows how a cow that was about to be killed furiously dispersed people that were supposed to butcher it for consumption. Though it was unclear where the incident happened, Naija News, however, observed that a man playing a hero in the tragic event almost got killed by the animal after it used its horns to tumbled him to the ground.

Meanwhile, Nigeria’s Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, on Friday, July 31 took to his account on the microblogging site, Twitter, to share photos of how he butchered rams at his home to celebrate the month of sacrifice.
