Buhari Shares Photos Of Rams He Killed On Eid-El-Kabir, Sends Message To All Muslims

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has today wished all Nigerians, most especially the Muslim faithful a safe and happy Eid-El-Kabir.

Bashir Ahmad, Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, confirmed earlier that his principal will celebrate the 2020 Eid with his family.

Celebrating with joy the Eid festival, President Buhari on Friday, July 31 took to his verified Twitter account to share some beautiful photos taken with families, nothing that their celebration was done in compliance with the advisories from the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.

He tweeted, “I observed the Eid El-Kabir prayers at home with my family, this morning, in keeping with the advisories from the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. Once again I wish us all a safe and happy Eid. #EidMubarak”

Meanwhile, the newly appointed Executive Secretary of Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Reverend Yakubu Pam, has said he will ensure a smooth relationship between Muslims and Christians in Nigeria during his tenure.
