₦400m Fraud: Court Orders Arrest Of Ex-NASS Clerk Sani Omolori

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has granted have asked for the immediate arrest of former  Clerk of the National Assembly Mohammed Omolori over allegation of N400 million fraud.

Justice Suleman Belgore,  issued the warrant of arrest on Omolori following an ex parte motion filed by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

JUST IN: Maina Released From Kuje Prison

Abdulrasheed Maina, the former Chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Task Team, has been released from the Kuje prison in Abuja.

Confirming Maina’s release, a lawyer in his defence team, Ademola Adedipe, said the former pension boss had been in detention since November 2019 following his arraignment before Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court in Abuja.

I Don’t Want To Contract Coronavirus, I Am Not Ready To Die – Rotimi Amaechi

Rotimi Amaechi,  Nigeria’s Minister of Transportation, has openly expressed his fear for the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, stating that he is not ready to die.

Naija News reports that the minister made this comment in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital on Monday during the briefing by members of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19.

It’s Unfortunate To See Dogara Fabricating Lies Against His Helper – Bauchi Gov, Mohammed

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has described as ‘unfortunate, and regrettable’ to see the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, fabricating lies against those who have helped him.

According to the governor, he is surprised to see the former speaker coming up to accuse him of corruptions, after helping him out from losing his mandate as a member of the House of Reps following plots by his (Mohammed’s) adversary, the former state governor.
