The governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has tentatively fixed reopening of worship centres (Churches, Mosques) for August 14 amid  Coronavirus in Ogun.

Naija News reports that the Ogun governor said private and public schools will resume on August 4 for Senior Secondary School (SSS) 3 students.

The governor warned any private school that fails to meet established guidelines for the prevention of COVID-19 will not be allowed to reopen.

Governor Abiodun made this comment in a broadcast to the state where he also said there shall be automatic promotions to the next class for other categories pupils and students.

The governor the spread of the virus in Ogun has been on the “upswing” in the last two weeks, saying the situation was more troubling because most of the infected are asymptomatic.
