The achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari for the past five years would play a big role in winning Edo 2020 and Ondo 2020 elections, a member of the National Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs Stella Okotete, has said.
Naija News reports that the APC NCC member in a statement she signed yesterday, said Nigerians have felt the impact of the transformation agenda of the President and are willing to vote for APC in both states.
The APC NCC member said the APC candidate in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, is a grassroots man loved by his people, adding that: “I have confidence that he will be elected.
“In Ondo State, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has performed well. We are sure that he will be re-elected.
“As a party, we are proud of what we have brought into governance. We are happy that even ordinary Nigerians on the streets are happy that the change has affected them positively.”
“I urge our party members, especially progressive women in both states, to campaign for the candidates in all wards and local governments. In September and October, we will be victorious and our people will continue to enjoy human capital, socio-economic and infrastructural development.”
