Coronavirus: Ekiti Attorney General, Fapohunda Test Positive For COVID-19
Ekiti State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Wale Fapohunda on Sunday, July 27 confirmed that he tested positive for Coronavirus disease.
This is coming barely a week after Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi was reported positive for the dreaded pandemic, Naija News understands.
Fapohunda made the disclosure of his COVID-19 status on his account on the microblogging site, Twitter, at about 9:30 pm on Sunday.
His tweet reads; “The result of my second covid-19 test came out positive today. In line with the established protocols, I have commenced a period of self-isolation. In my absence, all state legal matters should be referred to the Solicitor-General of the State.”

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, in its daily report noted that Nigeria on Sunday recorded five hundred and fifty-five confirmed new cases of Coronavirus pandemic.
The health agency on Sunday, 25 July at about 11:00 pm confirmed the new figures on its verified official account on the microblogging site, Twitter.
