Magu, Lawyer Submit 34-Page Defence, Photos To Presidential Panel
The counsel to the suspended acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, Wahab Shittu, on Thursday presented a 34-page letter with 100 annexure to the Presidential panel investigating him.
Information gathered revealed that Magu appeared before the Justice Ayo Salami-led panel around 1 pm and was still there as of 6 pm.
Sowore: Garba Shehu Suffering Memory Failure – Falana Bombs Buhari’s Aide
Femi Falana (SAN), Omoyele Sowore’s lawyer, has accused President Muhammadu Buhari’s media aide, Garba Shehu of attempting to distort the proceedings of the meetings held with his client.
Naija News reports that Garba Shehu had accused Sowore of attempting to twist the facts surrounding the visit of Isa Funtua and other persons to him while in custody.
NDDC Probe: You Must Refund ₦4.9 Billion COVID-19 Palliatives
The Senate has directed the Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to refund all the money spent for COVID-19 palliatives.

The senior special adviser to former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Paul Ibe, has noted that the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, lied when he denied that the National Assembly received 60 per cent of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, contracts.
Recall that the former governor of Abia State while answering questions before the ad-hoc committee put in place by the House of Representatives, noted that some contracts awarded by the Commission were handled by the lawmakers.
