The body of deceased Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, Nigeria’s first female combat helicopter pilot, has been laid to rest at the Military Cemetary in Abuja on Thursday.

An ambulance belonging to the Nigerian Air Force with registration number AF 442, brought in the body.

Heavy deployment of armed Military men, including the Guards Brigade, were visible as the ambulance conveying the body arrived at the Cemetery at about 8.38 am.

The atmosphere in the Cemetery is gloomy with Military Personnel wearing long faces.

Naija News recalls that Tolulope Arotile was killed by a reversing vehicle driven by her old schoolmate, Nehemiah Adejoh at the NAF Base Kaduna.
