Bashir Ahmad, Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media has confirmed that the newly built International Terminal at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, will soon be commissioned for use.

The Presidential aide made the disclosure in a tweet on his verified account on the microblogging site, Twitter, on Thursday, July 23.

Naija News understands that the newly built terminal at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, the airport serving the capital city of Kano State of Nigeria was designed and built to meet international standards.

Reacting to the beautiful view of the terminal shared on the microblogging site account of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, Bashir tweeted; “INSIDE; the newly built International Terminal at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, to be commissioned soon.”

Naija News understands that the airport was formerly a Royal Air Force station before the country became independent and later was named after politician Aminu Kano.
