Kandawa, a community in Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State has again been attacked by bandits.

According to the report, three people were killed by the armed bandits, including a religious leader in the attack which happened at a late hour on Tuesday, July 21.

A local who disclosed the incident to newsmen revealed that the armed men stormed the community in their numbers on motorcycles and started shooting sporadically to scare residents.

Naija News learnt that the gunmen carted away livestock and food items from houses and shops of residents during the attack which reportedly lasted a couple of hours.

It is no longer new that Katsina State is one of the states that have witnessed a series of attacks by bandits, kidnappers, and cattle rustlers among other criminal activities over a few months now.

Meanwhile, Naija News had reported earlier that daughter to a 70-year-old man cried out that her father has gone missing.

According to the young girl in a mail she reportedly made available to newsmen, her father left home since on Tuesday, July 21 and is nowhere to be found since the time he was last seen.
