The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on Monday, July 20 confirmed five hundred and sixty-two new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
The health agency confirmed the new figures on its verified official account on the microblogging site, Twitter, on Monday night, Naija News understands.
According to the NCDC, the newly reported cases were found as follows; FCT-102, Lagos-100, Plateau-52, Kwara-50, Abia-47, Kaduna-35, Benue-34, Oyo-26, Ebonyi-24, Kano-16, Niger-15, Anambra-14, Gombe-12, Edo-11, Rivers-6, Nasarawa-5, Delta-5, Borno-3, Enugu- 2, Bauchi-2, and 1 in Kebbi State.
The report also confirmed that Nigeria has so far recorded 37,225 confirmed cases of the novel virus, while 15,333 patient has been discharged.
As at the time this report was given, total related COVID-19 deaths in Nigeria is 801, Naija News reports.
