The fifth edition of the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality TV show kicked off with big bang on Sunday, July 19, 2020.

Naija News reports that the BBNaija season 5 tagged “BBNaija Lockdown” opening ceremony was hosted by Ebuka Obi Uchendu.

Ebuka, though very popular on social media, still has some interesting profile Nigerians don’t know about.

This online newspaper reports that this would be the fourth year in a row Ebuka would be hosting the Big Brother Naija reality show.

Ebuka was a former housemate of the Big Brother Naija show back in 2006 and he has hosted the last three seasons titled – See Gobbe, Double Wahala, and Pepper Dem.

Ebuka is married to Cynthia Obianodo, the daughter of billionaire businessman, Chief Vincent Obianodo since 2016.

Chief Obianodo is the CEO of The Young Shall Grow transport company, one of the biggest names in transportation in Nigeria.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu wrote and pass the Common Entrance Examination, two years ahead of his mates when he was in primary four.

This is the examination children write in Nigeria in primary six before they gain admission into federal secondary schools.

Ebuka is a qualified professional lawyer  – he got his first degree at the University of Abuja.

He also attended the Nigerian Law School in Bwari, Abuja.

The BBNaija host also bagged his Masters from Washington College of Law in America in 2010.

Chukwuebuka Obi-Uchendu is from Okija in Anambra State, southeast Nigeria and was born on 14 July 1982 in Benin City, Edo State.

Apart from hosting the Big Brother Naija reality show, Ebuka hosted Rubbin’ Minds talk show on Channels TV.

He is also a co-host for The Spot and Men’s Corner on Ebonylife Television.
