EPL: Nigerian Winger To Sign New Arsenal Deal

English premier league club, Arsenal are close to deals for Willian and Philippe Coutinho that will see the two Brazillian footballers join the Emirates outfit at the end of the current season.

Both players are represented by super-agent Kia Joorabchian, who also represents Arsenal defender, David Luiz.

Naija News recalls Luiz recently got a contract extension with the Gunners and Joorabchian is reportedly looking to bring his two other Brazilian clients to North London.

Willian is set to become a free agent at the end of the current season while Coutinho has failed to rediscover the form that made Barcelona spend big on him in 2018.

He finished this season on loan with German champions, Bayern Munich but is still not guaranteed a place in the Barcelona team (and would most likely be allowed to leave on loan again) while Bayern are not likely to take up the option of making his loan move permanent.

Willian is 31, while Coutinho is 28, but with Arsenal understood to be battling with limited funds to spend on new recruits, the two players seem like cheap and quality alternatives to add to the squad.

There is a claim in public opinion that due to Arsenal having limited funds available, and with the club only able to buy payers if they sell members of their squad, both Willian and Coutinho are seen as attractive options.
