Bishop Oyedepo Backs #EndSARS Protests, Says 'Nigerians Have Been Pushed To The Wall'

A storm of reactions by Nigerians has greeted the statement by Bishop David Oyedepo, the General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel, that “prosperity is impossible without tithing.”

Naija News had reported earlier that the Winners Chapel General Overseer said on Thursday day tithing is an inescapable covenant obligation hence prosperity not just wealth is impossible without tithing.

This online news platform understands that Bishop Oyedepo said those who are not paying tithe are under a “financial curse” because “tithing is an inescapable covenant obligation.”

“Tithing is an inescapable covenant obligation. Prosperity not just wealth is impossible without tithing because when you’re not paying your tithe, you’re under a financial curse,” Bishop Oyedepo wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Displeased with the statement, Nigerians took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter, to attack Bishop Oyedepo.
