Femi Fani-Kayode, a  former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, has warned the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, that his rift with the immediate past acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr Joi Nunieh, will lead to his destruction.

Naija News reports that the former Minister gave the warning in a series of tweets on Thursday, a day police officers besieged the Port Harcourt residence of the Ex-NDDC director, days after she had said on Monday that she once slapped Senator Akpabio for sexually harassing her.

The Ex-NDDC director who made the disclosure during an interview on Arise TV added that the incident occurred at the minister’s guest house in Abuja.

“Why did he not tell Nigerians that I slapped him in his guest house at Apo? I am the only woman that slapped Akpabio. He thought he could come up on me. He tried to harass me sexually,” she said.

“I slapped him. He tried to come on me. I am an Ogoni woman and nobody jokes with us. I showed Akpabio that Rivers women do not tolerate nonsense,” she had said.

However, four days after she made the comment, on Thursday, policemen stormed her residence with the claim that the Ex-NDDC was needed for questioning. She was, however, rescued by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.

Reacting to the series of events involving the Ex-NDDC director and Akpabio, who was a former two-term governor of Akwa Ibom state, south-south, Fani-Kayode reminded Akpabio that  “a few years ago, a car filled with people plunged into a deep river after a terrible accident” and that “everyone in that vehicle perished except” Joy Nunieh.

The former Minister of Aviation wrote:A few years ago a car filled with people plunged into a deep river after a terrible accident. Everyone in that vehicle perished except one. After 2 hours of struggling for her life in that river, the person finally floated to the bank barely alive. That person was Joy Nunieh, the lady that someone now wants to kill.

“There are some people you just don’t mess with because the hand of God is upon them. Joy is one of them. God is with her & fighting her will lead to your destruction. The Bible says “touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm,” Fani-Kayode tweeted.
