APC Will Reclaim Edo State From The Opposition Party – Sylva
The current Governor of the state, Godwin Obaseki, would be contesting under the Peoples Democratic Party in the September 19 governorship election.
The Minister of State for Petroleum, Timipre Sylva, has noted that the All Progressives Congress would be victorious in the forthcoming governorship election in Edo State.

The former governorship candidate of PDP, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, would be contesting under the All Progressives Congress against Obaseki.
The minister in his statement on Tuesday noted that the desire of APC to win the election is a consensus among party members and leaders, especially in the South-South.
According to Sylva, APC is working effortlessly to ensure the party reclaims the state from the opposition.
He stated this while responding to questions from newsmen at the National Secretariat of the APC in Abuja, on Tuesday.
