Coronavirus: FG Changes Arrival Time For Passengers Ahead Of Flight Departure

The Federal Government through the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has advised Nigerians to arrive at airports, 90 minutes before their flight departure time amid coronavirus in Nigeria.

Naija News reports that the development is coming a month after the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) advised passengers to arrive at airports at least three hours before flight time.

In a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, on Monday, the Minister of Aviation said the time had been reduced to an hour 30mins and advised passengers to check-in online

“My colleagues and I have reviewed passenger facilitation at our airports. Consequently, I am happy to announce that, henceforth travellers are to arrive one hour and a half before their departure time for domestic flights. Travellers are advised to check-in online, please.”
